Extended Medical Device Services

In 2008, Custom Wire Technologies partnered with Wisconsin-based K-Kolor for mission-critical printing on custom medical devices. [ Read Article in Enercon Industries' eNews ] Through this partnership, K-Kolor can extend its capabilities to the complete line of medical device services offered by Custom Wire Technologies. From guidewire design and prototyping to short- or full-run productions and cleanroom assembly, K-Kolor can accommodate all of your custom wire medical device production needs.

Together, the two companies designed an integrated robotic feeding system that precisely postiions and rotates the fine and micro-fine wire products in the treatment zone. Printing is achieved with the K-Kolor pad printer by utilizing a rotary fixture for rotational printing.
